Job Description
Position: Assistant Clinical Director Supervisor: Waiver Program Coordinator
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Field.
2. At least three years of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
3. At least one year of staff supervisory experience.
Pay Range: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00
General Description:
The Assistant Clinical Director is directly responsible for all administrative functions in the assigned location. It is also expected that the Assistant Clinical Director will be aware of and capable of completing all duties assigned to the Clinical Director.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide initial and ongoing training to Area Coordinators.
2. Serve as the primary problem solver and "go to" person for Area Coordinators within the region.
3. Provide administrative supervision to all Area Coordinators in the region.
4. Assist in coordination of Behavior Support Specialist and RN services within the region.
5. Hire and provide administrative supervision and oversight for RN.
6. Complete staff performance evaluations for each Area Coordinator and RN in the assigned region as per policy requirements.
7. Provide administrative supervision for Behavior Management Specialists.
8. Assist in the development of personnel and service policies and procedures.
9. Assure all PAIS, Inc. policies and procedures are being followed.
10. Develop and maintain Interagency Agreements with other service providers.
11. Develop and maintain a staff training model.
12. Serve as the primary regional contact for all state agencies.
13. Develop and implement marketing procedures for the region.
14. Serve as the agency contact for addressing interagency conflicts.
15. Review all referrals and discuss service needs with the Area Coordinator.
16. Attend meetings for all clients requiring 24 services or 2 on 1 services.
17. Act as a consultant to Area Coordinators for employee disciplinary actions.
18. Coordinate the Critical Incident Database for the region.
19. Coordinate staff attendance at Human Rights Committee meetings.
20. Review and approve all newspaper ads and submit to Regional Business Manager by Friday prior to the Sunday ad is being run.
21. Collect, analyze, summarize and coordinate follow up for all QA reviews.
22. Maintain financial viability of all services within the region.
23. Provide assistance to the Waiver Program Coordinator as requested.
